ALABAMA BOARD OF PHARMACY APPROVED CONTINUING EDUCATION EVENTS

On October 26, 2005 the Board of Pharmacy reviewed the year to date 2005 Continuing Education Programs provided in the state.  The Board recommends continuing education programs for 2007 to include topics on
medication safety error reduction, compounding, diversion, technician education and quality assurance.

  • Pharmacy CE must be ACPE approved or approved by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Physician, Nursing, or other Healthcare CE programs are not automatically approved for Pharmacy CE.
  • An ACPE or ALBOP approval number will be assigned to every Pharmacy approved CE.
  • Pharmacy CE should be retained for two (2) years representing the biennial license or registration renewal.
